“ Hidden spot but very clean and quick service. The indoor seating is limited but the outdoor bar seating works well, by the time your food is ready the seats open up. Portions are good and the quality of both the shrimp and octopus. Reminds me of LA and their seafood spots. Would recommend ”

I had brought the mixed cocktail (shrimp and octopus) and fish empanada that it tasted great and delicious. The service there was attentive and quick that I spoke a bit of Spanish what I wanted to order and they seem to understand what I'm trying to say and got my order correctly without hesitation. “ The pulpo (octopus) is SO tender. This really hit the spot on a hot day. I got the mixto small which was about 13$ and the fish tostada. Both offered different textures and flavors but were both delicious. Look for the window with the benches attached to the deli on the corner, right next to the bookstore. The staff was very quick and sweet. Will definitely be coming back!! ”
“ Super unassuming window service. The tacos came out extremely quickly which was great. But be warned, the food is served fairly hot. We got the ceviche cup which was great, even for someone that doesn't like ceviche. Taco wise, the fried fish taco was the best. There are plenty stores in the area to buy soda/water to add to the meal. The seating area was empty when we went but I can see this building up quickly! ”

We opted for the medium, which was more than enough. This is a must in your food crawl, as this fresh concoction was so aromatic, with the most succulent shrimp. There was a slight bitter taste to some octopus to me. But there were a ton of pieces, surprising me every time I dug in. Seafood lovers, you will enjoy this! ”
“ This place is worthy of the hype, and one of my favorite snacks when I'm in the Jackson Heights area. Their cocktails are delicious. But what I really love are the tostadas. Ever since I had the tostadas inside the Coyoacán Market in Mexico City, I've been on the hunt to find similar places in the city - I can safely say that this place definitely hits the spot. Their octopus tostada brings me back to being back in Mexico. There's a window counter outside the corner store, and some seats you can sit at outside along the wall of the restaurant, otherwise this is mostly a place to grab and go. When I take out-of-town guests on a Jackson Heights food tour, this is indubitably a guaranteed stop. ”
